About Omega Medical Group
At Omega Medical Group (OMG), Dr. Marizeli Olacio is pleased to provide a comprehensive array of preventative, conservative, and surgical treatment options to fix your foot problems and help you live your best life. We serve the greater Miami community with offices in North Miami Beach and Miami Shores, FL.
Our Mission and Philosophy of Care
Foot problems are never just about the feet. A painful heel or an ankle out of alignment can cause problems and pain in the knees, hips, and back. More importantly, painful feet keep you from doing what you really love. We may be lower limb specialists, but we treat each patient with their whole body in mind, understanding how our care fits into the greater scope of full body health and wellness.
Every member of the team at OMG is fully dedicated to patient education as a top priority. It is essential that each patient leaves every visit knowing exactly what their problem is, what they need to do about it, and how we can help them reach their goal. We will gladly take as long as you need to answer all of your questions, so that you can leave our office with hope and confidence.
In the world of podiatric medicine, there are no cookie-cutter solutions. No two feet are exactly alike, and even two people with a similar condition may have very different personal goals. We’re dedicated to providing personalized, individual care to every patient who walks through our door.
Our approach is focused on getting people better, faster. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in order to get you back on your feet and back to the things you love as quickly as possible, and allow you to remain as active as possible during the treatment course. A few of our procedures—such as treatment for ingrown and fungal nails—can even offer same-day solutions.
Conditions We Treat
Our offices provide thorough care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Our top specialties include:
- Sports injuries, including ankle sprains, Achilles tendinitis, Achilles tendon ruptures, Lisfranc (midfoot) sprains, fractures, and more.

- Flatfoot correction, either through conservative management or surgical reconstruction.

Other service areas include correction of deformities such as bunions and hammertoes, care for arthritic joints, treatment of skin and nail conditions such as ingrown toenails and fungal nails, and children’s foot care.
