My name is Edgar Moscoso and I am the lead medical assistant at Omega. I welcome our patients and assist the patients in healing. I was born in Venezuela and came to the United States when I was one year old. I graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School in 2005 and I am currently enrolled at MDC for Nursing.
Throughout high school and my first year in college, I played baseball- third base and catcher. I have served in the U.S. Army for 4 years as a line medic. On my free time, my wife and I like to go to the beach. Also, my wife and I own a Yorkie named Bella and miniature pinscher named Blaze.
Community Relations Director
My name is Ilaisah Martinez and I am the Patient and Community Relations Director. From Social media to pulling reports, I am helping the patients keep up to date with patient care. I am a current student at the University of Florida where I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Anthropology with a minor in Mandarin. I graduated from Miami Lakes Educational Center, summa cum laude- top 5% of the class- in 2016.
While in school- then and now- I have always been involved in extracurricular activities. I am never just satisfied being just a member of anything I put my mind to, I like to rise to official positions to help lead. I love to dance, listen to K-Pop, watch Korean dramas, and go to concerts and travel. If there’s anything that keeps me grounded, it’s definitely God and my mom.
